A chamber musical by Joshua Schmidt and Jason Loewith, based on Elmer Rice's 1923 expressionist play The Adding Machine. After 25 years of bookkeeping, Mr. Zero is replaced by a machine and murders his boss, and the show follows him through his execution into an afterlife. It premiered at Next Theatre Company in Evanston, Illinois in 2007.
