Start ratingDeath Note: The Musical adapts the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Light Yagami, a high school student, picks up a notebook dropped into the human world by a death god, finds that it kills anyone whose name is written in it, and starts using it on criminals, which draws a detective known only as L into a long contest to work out who he is. Frank Wildhorn wrote the music, and the show opened in 2015 in Tokyo in Japanese and in Seoul in Korean.
