Built around the songs of the British band Madness, the musical follows Joe Casey on the night of his sixteenth birthday, when a break-in with his girlfriend Sarah ends in a police chase. The story then splits into two parallel versions of Joe's life: one where he stays and faces the consequences, and one where he runs.
