An Austrian musical about Maria Theresia, who inherits the Habsburg lands in 1740 at a court that does not believe a woman should hold them. It follows her marriage to Franz Stephan and her long war with Friedrich of Prussia, and the reforms she pushed through while raising sixteen children. Dieter Falk wrote the music and Thomas Kahry the book, with lyrics by Jonathan Zelter. It opened at the Ronacher in Vienna in October 2025.
