Emojiland is a pop musical set inside a smartphone, where a community of emoji characters lives on the eve of a software update. Among them are a smiley face hiding depression, a princess who doesn't want a prince and a skull who wants to be deleted, and their conflicts turn into a fight over who belongs and who's in charge. It was a Grand Jury Selection at the 2018 New York Musical Festival before its Off-Broadway premiere.
