Bugsy Malone is set among rival Prohibition-era gangs in 1920s New York, run by Fat Sam and Dandy Dan. Bugsy Malone gets pulled into their rivalry while pursuing showgirl Blousey Brown and catching the eye of Tallulah, Fat Sam's girlfriend. It is played entirely by a cast of children, and the gangsters shoot custard pies from splurge guns instead of bullets.
