A musical loosely based on the 1975 documentary about Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Little Edie, relatives of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The first act is set at their East Hampton estate in 1941 at its social height; the second moves to 1973, with the two women living in isolation in the decaying, cat-filled house.
