Based on the 1984 film, this musical follows Ren McCormack, a teenager who moves from Chicago to the small town of Bomont, where a minister has led an effort to outlaw dancing after a tragic accident. With help from the reverend's daughter Ariel and a new friend named Willard, Ren works to overturn the ban.
