Start ratingYoung Frankenstein is a comedy musical based on the 1974 Mel Brooks film, with a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks. It follows Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his infamous grandfather's castle in Transylvania and, despite wanting nothing to do with the family legacy, ends up reviving the old experiments and creating a Monster of his own. Along the way he meets the henchman Igor, the lab assistant Inga, and the housekeeper Frau Blucher.
