The Devil Wears Prada

Based on Lauren Weisberger's novel and the 2006 film, the musical follows Andy Sachs, a young assistant working for Miranda Priestly, the demanding editor in chief of a New York fashion magazine. Trying to keep up with Miranda's expectations pushes Andy toward a choice between the job and the rest of her life. It premiered in Chicago in 2022, with music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, and a book by Kate Wetherhead.
