Leap of Faith is a musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Janus Cercone and Warren Leight, based on the 1992 film. It follows Jonas Nightingale, a traveling con man posing as a faith-healing revivalist, who works a drought-stricken Kansas town and finds his act tested there. The show tried out in Los Angeles in 2010 and opened on Broadway in 2012.
