Tracy Lord, a wealthy socialite about to remarry, spends the weekend before her wedding fending off her ex-husband C.K. Dexter Haven and two undercover magazine reporters. The musical has a book by Arthur Kopit and songs by Cole Porter, drawing on Philip Barry's play The Philadelphia Story and the 1956 film musical of the same songs. It opened on Broadway in 1998.
