This new musical adapts the 1941 play by Howard Richardson and William Berney, itself loosely inspired by the folk ballad 'Barbara Allen.' Set in a rural mountain community, it follows a witch boy who gives up his powers for a human girl he loves, putting him at odds with both worlds. It premiered at the Charing Cross Theatre in London in 2026.
