The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story, this musical moves the setting to a Cornish fishing village at the end of the First World War. It follows Benjamin, a man born old who grows younger with each passing year, as he ages backward through the twentieth century, set to a folk score of sea shanties and ballads. It premiered at the Southwark Playhouse in London in 2019, written by Jethro Compton and Darren Clark.
