Adapted from the 1950 Billy Wilder film, this Andrew Lloyd Webber musical is set in 1949 Los Angeles. A down-on-his-luck screenwriter named Joe Gillis crosses paths with Norma Desmond, a faded silent-film star living in a decaying mansion, and gets drawn into her delusional dream of a screen comeback.
