Pretty Filthy is a documentary-style musical built from interviews the theater company The Civilians conducted with people working in the adult film industry around Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley. It follows a young woman new to the business and the boyfriend who eventually joins her in it, with a veteran performer offering a longer view of how the industry has changed.
