A musical comedy written and produced by Oscar Asche with music by Frederic Norton, based on the tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. The robber chief Abu Hasan disguises himself as the wealthy merchant Chu Chin Chow to infiltrate a rich household. It premiered in London in 1916 and ran for over five years.
