Katherine is planning her own wedding, and her teenage daughter Ellie wants to spend the night on a citywide scavenger hunt. A magical hourglass breaks during an argument and the two of them wake up in each other's bodies with one day to swap back. The hourglass was a gift from Ellie's late father, so getting it back matters for more than the spell. Bridget Carpenter wrote the book, with music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Brian Yorkey.
