A musical by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA with lyrics by Tim Rice, set against the Cold War. An American and a Russian grandmaster face off for the world chess title as their governments try to use the match for political ends. A love triangle involving Florence, who works as the American's second, complicates the contest.
