Nord-Ost is a Russian musical by Aleksei Ivashchenko and Georgi Vasilyev, based on Veniamin Kaverin's 1944 novel The Two Captains. It follows a search across decades for a lost Arctic expedition, set against polar exploration, revolution, and World War II. It opened at Moscow's Dubrovka theatre in 2001.
