Dear Evan Hansen

A musical by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul with a book by Steven Levenson about Evan Hansen, a high school senior with severe social anxiety. After a classmate's suicide, Evan fabricates a story that he was the boy's close friend, a lie that draws him into the grieving family and gives him a sense of belonging even as it spirals out of control.
