In a New England coastal town, carousel barker Billy Bigelow falls for millworker Julie Jordan. After he dies during a botched robbery, he is given a chance to return for one day to help the daughter he never knew. It is a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical based on Ferenc Molnar's play Liliom.
