A musical directed and co-written by Tina Landau, with music by Kate Diaz, conceived with Idina Menzel, who played the lead. Jesse walks out on her career and her wife after her son dies of a fentanyl overdose, drives to the redwood forests of Northern California, and ends up living high in the canopy of one tree with the two arborists who work there. It premiered at La Jolla Playhouse in 2024 and opened on Broadway in 2025.
