13 is a coming-of-age musical about Evan Goldman, a Jewish boy whose parents divorce and who moves from New York City to small-town Indiana right before his bar mitzvah. He tries to fit in and get the popular kids to his party while navigating friendships and middle-school cliques. The original Broadway cast was made up entirely of teenagers.
