A Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman musical set at a crumbling Broadway theater on the eve of its demolition, where an old impresario gathers the former showgirls of his Follies for a reunion. It centers on two unhappy married couples, Sally and Buddy and Phyllis and Ben, who are followed by the ghosts of their younger selves.
