A South African jazz musical with music by Todd Matshikiza and book by Harry Bloom, billed as an all-African jazz opera. Set in Johannesburg's townships, it follows the rise and fall of the champion boxer Ezekiel 'King Kong' Dhlamini. Its original cast included Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela.
