A musical with music by Frank Wildhorn and book and lyrics by Jack Murphy and others, drawn from the Mayerling affair. Set in late 1880s Vienna, it follows Rudolf, Crown Prince of Austria, and his relationship with Baroness Mary Vetsera, which ended in their deaths at the Mayerling hunting lodge. It had its world premiere in Budapest in 2006.
