Half a Sixpence

A British musical comedy based on H.G. Wells' novel Kipps, written as a vehicle for pop star Tommy Steele. Set in turn-of-the-century Folkestone, it follows Arthur Kipps, a draper's apprentice who inherits a fortune, drifts from his childhood sweetheart Ann toward a higher-class match, and comes to learn what he actually wants.
