American Psycho is a musical by Duncan Sheik and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel. It premiered at London's Almeida Theatre in 2013 before reaching Broadway in 2016. Set in Manhattan during the 1980s Wall Street boom, it follows Patrick Bateman, a wealthy investment banker who is secretly a serial killer.
