Black and Blue is a musical revue of the blues, jazz, and tap dance of Black artists in Paris between the two World Wars. It has no book story and uses standards by W.C. Handy, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, and others. The show began in Paris in 1985 before reaching Broadway.
