Set at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this Adler and Ross musical follows a labor fight over a seven-and-a-half-cent raise. New factory superintendent Sid Sorokin falls for Babe Williams, who heads the union grievance committee, putting their romance on opposite sides of the dispute.
